Exercise 1: Find Your AI Champions

Act as an organizational change and AI adoption advisor. I am a [TITLE] leading a team/organization of approximately [SIZE] people across [FUNCTIONS OR DEPARTMENTS]. Help me identify the types of people within my organization who could become strong AI champions. Ask me 5 questions, one at a time, about my team, including who is already experimenting with AI, who influences others, who is naturally curious, who helps colleagues learn, and where AI adoption is already happening. After I answer your questions, help me identify 2–3 potential AI champions or champion profiles. For each one, explain why they could be an effective champion, what role they could play in AI adoption, and what I could do as a leader to activate and support them. Do not make assumptions about my organization. Ask questions first and help me think through the answer.

Exercise 2: Diagnose your adoption barriers

Now act as my AI change management advisor. Based on what you already know about my organization, help me diagnose what may be preventing my team from adopting AI effectively. Ask me 5 questions, one at a time, exploring areas such as training, time, leadership behaviors, fear or resistance, governance, access to tools, understanding of use cases, expectations, and workflow identification. Challenge my assumptions if necessary. After I answer, identify the 2 biggest barriers to AI adoption. Help me determine whether each is primarily: 1. A technology problem 2. A people or capability problem 3. A leadership problem 4. An organizational or process problem Finally, recommend 2 actions within my control as a leader over the next 90 days.

Exercise 3: Build your 2027 AI leadership blueprint

Now act as my strategic thought partner as I develop a vision for how AI could transform my organization by the end of 2027. Use everything you have learned about my organization during our conversation. Help me think beyond simply automating today's tasks. I want to consider how AI could change the way our people work, how decisions are made, how leaders operate, and how our organization creates value. Interview me with strategic questions across four areas: PEOPLE: How could our workforce capabilities and roles evolve? WORK: Which workflows or ways of working could fundamentally change? BUSINESS: Where could AI create meaningful value through growth, productivity, margin, speed, innovation, or customer experience? LEADERSHIP: How would leaders need to behave differently to make this transformation successful? Challenge me to think bigger if my answers focus primarily on incremental efficiency or individual productivity. Then help me create a concise 2027 AI Leadership Blueprint containing: My 2027 Vision 1. The 3 most important organizational capabilities we need to build 2. The people or AI champions who could help lead the change 3. The biggest barrier we need to overcome 4. Our highest-value AI opportunity 5. One priority for the next 90 days 6. One thing I personally need to do differently as a leader
